Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Infection Control to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As the Infection Control Officer, you will be responsible for implementing effective procedures to prevent disease transmission among patients and staff. Your role will involve conducting research, developing and monitoring policies, and advocating for best practices in infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Infection Control Officer, overseeing infection prevention and control policies.
• Conduct scientific research and recommend policies on sterilization, disinfection, and decontamination.
• Provide expert guidance on the prevention, investigation, and reporting of diseases.
• Educate and train hospital personnel on infection control guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field, Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control within 18 months of hire.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
