Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently offering four (4) Registered Nurse (RN) positions at Meade District Hospital. The positions available include Full Time Night Shift RN, Full Time Day Shift RN, Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Pre/Post Op and the Med/Surg Floor), and Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Cardiac Rehab and the Med/Surg Floor).

This role involves providing quality care focused on patient and family well-being, maintaining nursing standards, and overseeing critical aspects of patient care. Nurses are expected to collaborate with specialists, supervise team members, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement, and safety standards.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes and adapt processes for optimal care.
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and IAs, ensuring patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current Kansas license.
• 30 CEUs in 2 years, ACLS, PALS certifications, and CPR review every 2 years.
• Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and independent work ability.
• Strong communication skills and respect for patients and colleagues.
