Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Avidex in Cary, North Carolina. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity by leveraging your expertise in GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly general ledger close and prepare journal entries.
• Contribute to the annual audit process.
• Manage internal controls and balance sheet accuracy.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or audit.
• Proficiency in GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis capabilities.
• Leadership experience and process improvement skills are valued.
