Senior Benefits & Compensation Specialist

Job Description
At VASA Fitness, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Benefits & Compensation Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a wholistic total rewards strategy that aligns with VASA’s values and goals, and to play an integral part in fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
- Communicate benefits information to employees, provide guidance, and answer benefits-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Lead the coordination of Open Enrollment efforts, including benefits design, cost structure recommendations, and setup of enrollment within HRIS system.
- Manage leave of absence requests, workers’ compensation cases, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Research and compare incentive compensation plans to assess competitiveness and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Lead the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
