Solutions Architect II

Job Description

We are looking for a Specialist Solution Architect with deep expertise in Large Scale Cloud and Managed Services, IT Security, Data Protection Services, Networking, and Interconnection among other specialties. The ideal candidate will be an industry expert capable of providing strategic direction to customers and prospects, presenting complex solutions, and representing Flexential at industry events.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Consult with SEs and SAs to provide in-depth technical expertise.
• Support national sales and technical teams with design suggestions and narratives.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
• Deliver formal presentations at conferences and assist in content creation.
• Stay informed on market demands and contribute to product development.
• Provide training to internal resources and support marketing activities.

Required Qualifications

• 9-11 years of B2B Sales and/or support in the IT industry.
• BS and/or MS in IT-related field preferred.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to simplify complex issues.
• Experience with multi-tier environments and architecture methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in various operating systems, databases, and security technologies.

• Ability to work in office and remote environments.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.
• Strong networking and customer interaction skills.

Base Pay Range: $126,000 - $170,000 annually. Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus. Flexential is an equal opportunity employer.
