Job Description

This exciting opportunity involves using the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. The specialized group of service teams responsible for this work is building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world. Serverless, one of the fastest growing teams within AWS, needs adaptable people to help implement and operate these systems.
Responsibilities
- Identify ways to improve the lives of customers through improvements to tools, processes, and documentation.
- Contribute to creating the massive scale and powerful new programming paradigms that customers need to be successful.
- Work with a team of highly motivated and talented systems developers and systems engineers to improve tool usage in both isolated AWS regions and in the AWS GovCloud regions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
