Join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Systems Development Engineer for ADC2S. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engineer and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure while working with a specialized group of service teams responsible for U.S. Government agencies.
As part of the rapidly growing Serverless team in Seattle, you will contribute to building and supporting fully managed services, such as Lambda, Simple Workflow, and Step Functions, enabling customers to develop scalable, fault-tolerant production systems without managing infrastructure or capacity. We are seeking talented engineers to create massive scale and powerful programming paradigms to ensure customers' success.
We are looking for enthusiastic engineers with a solid background in solving complex software development, systems engineering, and systems security problems. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving customer tools, processes, and documentation for AWS regions and the AWS GovCloud regions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement improvements to customer tools, processes, and documentation.
- Contribute to building and supporting serverless services for scalable, fault-tolerant production systems.
- Collaborate with specialized service teams responsible for U.S. Government agencies.
- Create massive scale and powerful programming paradigms to ensure customer success.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
Benefits
- Salary range of $103,400/year to $201,200/year, based on geographic location, skills, and experience.
