Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialized team working with the U.S. Intelligence Community. As a Systems Development Engineer, you will play a key role in building and supporting fully managed services, ensuring scalable and fault-tolerant production systems for our customers.
The ideal candidate will be a smart, enthusiastic, and creative engineer with a solid background in solving complex problems across software development, systems engineering, and systems security disciplines.
This position requires the selected candidate to possess and maintain an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Identify ways to improve customer experiences through tool and process enhancements.
- Work alongside a team of highly motivated and talented systems developers and engineers.
- Improve the use of tools in both isolated AWS regions and in the AWS GovCloud regions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals such as networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
