We are seeking a dedicated Academic Instructor-PIV to join our team. In this role, you will conduct and manage academic classes, help students achieve educational goals, promote a positive learning environment, and ensure compliance with company values and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage academic classes in designated subject areas.
• Help students achieve TABE gains and educational milestones.
• Promote a positive atmosphere for maximum student motivation.
• Maintain discipline for effective learning.
• Document student records and input relevant data.
• Establish student-instructor rapport and utilize curriculum resources.
• Integrate applied academic activities and track student performance.
• Ensure classroom preparation and cleanliness.
• Prepare student evaluations and reports.
• Assist in property inventory and monitor student progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, certified to teach in the state.
• Preferred one year teaching experience with disadvantaged youth.
• Strong knowledge of required subject area and excellent communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and ability to motivate students.
• Physically capable of sitting, standing, seeing, hearing, and occasional walking and bending.
