Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Athletic Trainer to join Goucher College and support the implementation of the sports medicine program for the intercollegiate athletic teams. In this role, you will provide athletic training services, assist in injury prevention programs, manage injuries, maintain medical records, and supervise the athletic training room.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage during practices, home contests, and away contests.
• Assist in the implementation of the sports medicine program for intercollegiate athletics.
• Maintain accurate medical records, coordinate insurance claims, and manage the athletic training room inventory.
• Supervise student workers and athletic training students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field.
• BOC certified and Maryland licensed, or eligible.
• Preferred: Master's degree and 1 year of collegiate experience.
