Insight Surgical Hospital, located in Warren, Michigan, is seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurse to join our dedicated medical staff. As a PACU & Med Surgery Nurse, you will provide peri-anesthesia nursing care and ensure the highest quality patient care standards are met in our fast-paced surgical environment.
Job Duties
- Direct and provide peri-anesthesia nursing care for patients pre and post operatively.
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of superior nursing care.
- Supervise and guide other PACU or pre-operative staff members.
- Interact professionally and courteously with staff and patients to maintain a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing and current licensure in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Experience in PACU, ambulatory care, or critical care preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
