Community Connector for the Violence Intervention Project

Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Community Connector to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will work closely with the Violence Intervention Project to provide outreach to victims of non-fatal shootings and individuals at risk of perpetuating violence in North Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Engage with victims of non-fatal shootings and at-risk individuals in the community.
• Collaborate with the Violence Intervention team to offer support and services.
• Participate in community events and meetings to represent APM.
• Maintain contact with individuals on the outreach list and facilitate eligibility assessments.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of direct service work with high-risk individuals.
• Experience working with street-involved youth.
• Valid Driver's License or access to public transportation.
