Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ: JAZZ) is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing life-changing medicines for patients with serious diseases. We are looking for a Corporate Counsel, Litigation to manage a variety of litigation matters, including antitrust, securities, patent, commercial, and employment disputes. This role involves contributing to litigation strategy, interacting with company leaders, conducting investigations, overseeing discovery, and providing legal counsel on various matters.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy and manage day-to-day flow of litigation matters globally.
  • Manage or contribute to matters including antitrust, securities, patent, commercial, and employment disputes.
  • Regularly interact with functional leaders and advise on litigation impact.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and working groups.
  • Lead internal investigations and provide legal support for compliance.
  • Oversee discovery strategy and execution.
  • Provide legal counsel on document retention and e-discovery.
  • Interact with outside counsel and ensure adherence to budget.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 5+ years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in litigating cases in U.S. state and federal courts.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel within the U.S. and Europe may be required.

Salary

The anticipated base pay range for this role is $204,000-$267,750, with additional benefits including annual cash bonus, equity grants, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
