Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team under the guidance of the Nurse Manager. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to ensure our clients receive optimal and cost-effective treatment. Responsibilities

  • Promote a professional and respectful environment for clients and colleagues.
  • Facilitate the agency's functions while adhering to policies and standards.
  • Assist clients in following their prescribed care plans.
  • Administer medications according to procedures and observe for any side effects.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and client medical information.
  • Perform nursing duties within the scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Act as a role model for both staff and clients.
  • Participate in training programs, meetings, committees, and professional development seminars.

Requirements

  • Current NYS LPN License and Infection Control Certificate.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a substance abuse treatment setting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
