Job Description

EarthScope Consortium is currently seeking a talented and experienced Engineer III - Design EE to join our Instrumentation - Engineering Design department. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong technical background and a passion for geophysical projects. As an Engineer III, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical geophysical projects, collaborating with engineers to devise innovative solutions, and serving as a subject matter expert on assigned projects.

  • Set strategic direction for project planning and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with geophysical sensors or networks.
  • Proficiency in geophysical data processing, data quality analysis, and programming languages.
  • Experience leading field teams and systems engineering.

Environment

This role may involve frequent travel to various project sites in the United States, polar latitudes, and international locations. Candidates must be able to comply with safety requirements and possess a valid driver's license and passport for travel.
