Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for managing industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintaining critical spares inventory, and optimizing equipment uptime. This role involves collaborating with maintenance teams, creating and updating equipment listings, and ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment servicing to maximize uptime.
• Manage critical spares inventory for production equipment.
• Collaborate with various teams to maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Drive equipment health checks and track maintenance trends.
• Assist in developing facility maintenance budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA scripting.
• Understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment components.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Drawings, 3D Printing, and CAD design.
• Inventory management skills and familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.
