Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Freeman Webb Company is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant, working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various maintenance projects and repairs.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Replace and repair various items such as glass, tile, carpet, and fixtures.
• Painting of interior and exterior spaces.
• Perform carpentry work and assist in custodial and grounds work.
• Conduct scheduled equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain stock control of maintenance materials.
• Ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
• Assist in other areas such as janitorial, custodial, and gardening as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and documents.
• Basic math skills required.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
