Med Care Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring the highest quality care for our residents. Your role will involve medication administration, documentation, resident care, and promoting the quality of life for seniors in accordance with regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following safety protocols.
• Document medication administration and resident information for each dosage.
• Communicate with Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse regarding medication updates and resident concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Medication Room and carts.
• Participate in resident care communications and risk management activities.
• Contribute to team success through active participation and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; certifications may be required in some states/provinces.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
