Job Description

Marion County Health and Human Services is seeking an experienced Mental Health Skills Trainer to join the Adult Behavioral Health's Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) team in a part-time role. The selected candidate will work at a supportive housing site, providing individual and group skills training, case management, and supervision to individuals with mental health challenges and co-occurring substance use disorders under the jurisdiction of the PSRB.

Responsibilities

  • Provide social and skills training following individualized service plans.
  • Perform PSRB supervision and monitoring to ensure compliance with conditional release orders.
  • Maintain PSRB supportive housing setting including residence & office maintenance.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Three years relevant work experience in behavioral health services or Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field.
  • Possession of a current Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) Qualified Mental Health Associate certification (QMHA) within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule with flexibility.
