Job Description: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Part-Time

Rivers Edge Hospital is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team. This position offers a competitive salary range and attractive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in the Proficiency Testing Program.
• Identify and resolve problems affecting test performance and results reporting.
• Adhere to federal and state laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or related field, or an Associate Degree in Laboratory Science. Certification/Registration required within one year of employment. Basic Life Support certification is a plus.
