Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Nurse Practitioner to join University Gastroenterology LLC in Providence RI. As a GI Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in both office and hospital settings. Working closely with physicians, you will diagnose and treat patients, manage medical care plans, and ensure patient records are accurate and updated. Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care adhering to practice policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct patient consultations, diagnose health issues, and recommend treatment options.
• Coordinate with the medical team for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and administer tests and medications.
• Provide patient education, referrals, and after-care instructions.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a medical team environment.
• Proficiency in EHR systems like Lifespan Epic and knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
