Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position at Grace Medical Center in the Emergency Room involves day and night shifts with varying hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients, collaborating with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to ensure quality care delivery. The role also requires maintaining clinical knowledge and skills competency to facilitate patient care in accordance with current standards of practice, all while providing a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience specific to Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience preferred.
- BLS required, ACLS within 6 months of hire, PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing Preferred.
- Completes orientation according to policy/procedures.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features state-of-the-art design with technology and amenities for emergency care. It includes private treatment rooms, negative pressure rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and a CT Scanner for early diagnosis of conditions such as strokes and heart attacks.
