Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join Quality Enterprises USA in Naples, FL. The Assistant Estimator will work closely with the estimator to analyze project information for budgeting, bidding, and proposal purposes.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate project documents to comprehend the scope of work.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits.
- Estimate costs for labor, materials, and construction.
- Create proposals and provide cost estimates to clients.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing information.
- Review change orders and communicate with clients regarding proposals.
Position Competencies
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in mathematical computations and estimating software.
Requirements
- 2+ years of estimating experience or a bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of construction practices and estimating software.
- Proficiency in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
