Join our team as a Music Teacher and work closely with participants to enhance their instrumental technique, performance abilities, and advanced skills. As a Music Teacher, you will provide personalized instruction, develop instrumental techniques, cultivate performance abilities, guide in advanced skills, prepare for showcases, and conduct progress assessments.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1:1 instruction tailored to individual skill levels and musical goals.
- Develop instrumental technique(s) on various instruments with a focus on proficiency and musicality.
- Cultivate performance abilities for solo and ensemble performances.
- Instruct in advanced musical skills like music notation, audition preparation, and improvisation.
- Collaborate for showcase preparation at least twice during the instruction period.
- Conduct periodic assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Qualifications
- Strong background in music education and performance.
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
- Exceptional teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance preparation.
- Flexibility in adapting teaching methods to individual needs.
- Access to musical instruments is advantageous.
