Job Description
The Server is a crucial role at Silver Diner responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to guests, driving sales, and ensuring satisfaction through accurate order delivery and service. As a Server, you will handle POS functions, suggestively sell to guests, maintain cleanliness, and uphold Silver Diner standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service by greeting guests promptly and delivering orders accurately.
- Maximize sales opportunities by suggesting menu items to guests.
- Operate POS system efficiently and handle payment transactions promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive guest experience.
Brand Delivery
- Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ensure station cleanliness and follow Silver Diner's brand guidelines.
- Meet SMG scoring standards for Service Speed and Order Accuracy.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
The role involves working in a dynamic environment with physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Candidates must meet the legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
