Job Description
The Server at Silver Diner is a key member of our team responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests. You will play a vital role in providing top-notch service, generating sales, and ensuring guest satisfaction through accurate order delivery and efficient POS operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service and assistance promptly.
- Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system without errors.
- Suggestively sell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage specifications.
- Clear tables promptly, pre-bus efficiently, and maintain a clean work station.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
Brand Delivery
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the values of the Silver Diner brand.
- Follow SMG scoring standards for Speed of Service & Accuracy of Order.
Performance Measures
- Achieve positive sales growth and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Cultivate strong relationships with guests to drive repeat business.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in serving or bartending preferred.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of a fast-paced restaurant environment.
