Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) - Relocation Offered

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) to join Marion County's Adult Behavioral Health team. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to adults with mental illnesses, including psychiatric nursing and coordination of care and medications. This role involves supporting the medical team, completing nursing assessments, administering injections, and overseeing daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments and injections.
• Coordinate care and medications for individuals with mental illnesses.
• Support the medical team and oversee clinic operations.
• Provide lead direction for nursing staff, including quality assurance and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing and four years of behavioral health nursing experience, or equivalent.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Oregon.
• Comprehensive knowledge of community behavioral health nursing practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish working relationships.
