Direct Support Professional - Relief (Turner, ME)

Job Description

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Relief to join our team at LEAP Life Enrichment Advancing People. As a DSP, you will have the chance to work in Turner, ME, providing essential support and care to individuals with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist, and instruct supported individuals in various activities to enhance their independence and community engagement.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks and ensure a safe and clean living environment for residents.
• Participate in paperwork, attend meetings, and engage in training sessions as required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an Ed Tech, CAN, BHP, or PSS is desirable.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to build interpersonal relationships, exercise good judgment, and demonstrate reliability.

Compensation: $17-19 per hour
