Experienced Server - 1-2 years experience as a Server or Bartender is preferred

Job Description

The Server is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our guests, generating sales, delivering food & beverage orders, and properly handling POS functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service including greeting every guest within 30 seconds of being seated.
• Deliver food & beverage orders accurately and suggestively sell to every guest.
• Accurately handle POS functions, including ringing in orders and collecting payments promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage specifications and actively pre-bus tables.
• Work as part of a team and complete all assigned side work.

Brand Delivery

• Be punctual, maintain a positive attitude, and adhere to uniform standards.
• Ensure station cleanliness, follow SMG scoring standards, and deliver the Silver Diner Brand.

Required Experience & Attributes

• 1-2 years experience as a Server or Bartender is preferred.
• Exceptional aptitude for Guest Service, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask, think and act quickly, and meet all schedule requirements.

Physical Requirements

The work environment includes various physical demands such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for long hours. Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
