Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bishop Gadsden on James Island. The ideal candidate will have advanced professional restaurant kitchen experience. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items as directed by the Executive Chef, demonstrating general food preparation knowledge, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent, Associates Degree in Culinary preferred.
- 2 years of professional experience as a line cook preferred.
- Previous restaurant experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently with proper direction.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various cooking tasks.
