Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at LESC. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, conducting health maintenance and educational groups, and providing emotional support to clients.
Major Duties
- Dispense prescribed medications.
- Report to disciplinary team on client's medical/clinical issues.
- Develop and conduct health maintenance and educational groups.
- Assess medical/clinical needs, write progress notes, and participate in treatment planning.
- Conduct initial medical assessments on new admissions.
- Administer and monitor clients' vital signs.
- Provide emotional support to clients.
- Fill in for other nurses as needed.
Schedules Available: Full-Time, Per Diem available with varying shifts.
Location: New York, NY 10002
Rate: $56,000 per year
Requirements
- RN/LPN with 2 years of related experience.
- Understanding of substance abuse and/or Methadone treatment.
- Multi-culturally sensitive.
- Computer competent.
