Job Description
Friends of Youth is seeking a dedicated Manager of Facilities to oversee all aspects of facilities management. This vital role involves supervising Facility Technicians, prioritizing work orders, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing exceptional customer service to employees. The Manager of Facilities plays a key role in ensuring the safety, maintenance, and operational efficiency of agency sites and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Supervise and mentor Facility Technicians.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and security systems.
- Manage the Facilities ticketing system for efficient request processing.
- Collaborate with program managers to address property needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management protocols.
- Develop and oversee the Facilities Division Budget.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with project management and vendor management preferred.
