Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations at Select Industries Corp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum quality and efficiency while minimizing costs. As a key member of our team, you will organize workflows, analyze operational efficiency, and lead a team to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and plan work schedules for optimal resource utilization.
• Assist in meeting production rates, schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Train and develop associates, ensuring performance expectations are met.
• Identify causes of scrap, implement corrective actions, and improve job output.
• Ensure employees adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions.
• Communicate goals, plans, and results to the team.
• Work towards company goals and standards, including IATF16949 requirements.
• Enforce proper PPE usage and provide training as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with hiring/staffing responsibilities.
• 3-5 years background in manufacturing or leadership, preferably in metal stamping.
• Strong knowledge of Stamping, Dies, Presses, and automotive industry practices.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to foster team collaboration.

Physical Demands

• May require standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating machinery.
• Eye/hand coordination and ability to work in high noise levels.
