Job Description
Great Falls Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Great Falls Clinic Hospital. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, maintaining pharmacy security, and training new staff members. Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify technician-prepared medications prior to dispensing.
- Maintain pharmacy security and control of controlled substances.
- Enter and maintain patient information with precision.
- Assist in training new pharmacy staff.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Pharmacy on daily activities.
- Support the Director in overall pharmacy maintenance.
Requirements
- Graduate of a college of Pharmacy (required).
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (preferred).
- 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
- Hospital pharmacy residency (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacokinetics, dosing, and nutritional support.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good medical terminology and keyboarding skills.
- Basic office skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
