First Response Rail Service, Inc. is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to join our team in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. As a Railcar Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting railcars, performing necessary repairs, making heavy repairs including welding and fabrication, and conducting part change-outs in the field.

Job Overview:

• Inspect railcars daily.
• Perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct program work based on provided scope.
• Welding, fabrication, and part change-outs.

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Experience with oxygen/acetylene torch, MIG, and stick welding.
• Good spatial awareness and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and walk significant distances.
• Continuous learning mindset.

Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience. Per diem provided for travel. Work schedule includes Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and holiday work.
