Job Description
The Server is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our guests, generating sales, delivering food & beverage orders, and properly handling POS functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service, including greeting within 30 seconds of being seated.
- Deliver orders 100% accurately and suggestively sell to every guest.
- Ring orders into POS immediately and accurately account for all guests.
- Maintain a clean station stocked to Silver Diner standards and complete assigned side work.
Brand Delivery
- Maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude and adhere to SMG scoring standards.
- Keep yourself, your uniform, and station clean at all times.
- Know and ensure delivery of the Silver Diner Brand.
Cost Balancing
- Properly account for sales, handle cash, and portion self-service items.
Performance Measures
- Positive sales growth and happy guests.
- Develop strong relationships with guests.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
- Exceptional aptitude for Guest Service, excellent communication skills, energy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, think quickly, and meet schedule requirements.
Physical Requirements
Physically intense environment requiring stamina with an ability to lift and maneuver boxes, stand for extended periods, and tolerate heat.
