Job Description

The Server plays a crucial role in delivering the Silver Diner brand experience to our guests. As an essential part of our team, you will provide exceptional hospitality, drive sales, serve food and beverages, and manage POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding service by promptly greeting guests, accurately taking orders, and delivering orders correctly.
• Suggestively upsell to enhance guest experience.
• Adhere to Silver Diner's service standards, including knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and efficiently complete side work tasks.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Brand Delivery

• Adhere to uniform standards and SMG scoring criteria for Speed of Service & Accuracy of Order.
• Embody the Silver Diner brand values and maintain a positive attitude.

Cost Balancing

• Accurately handle sales, cash, and portioning of self-service items.

Performance Measures

• Achieve positive sales growth and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Develop strong guest relationships to drive repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Positive, energetic, and organized approach to work.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.
