Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join Select Industries Corp, a leading manufacturing facility. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in crafting dies and metal tools for production. Your responsibilities will include interpreting design schematics, cutting and shaping dies, and assembling parts with precision.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret assembly prints.
• Build fixtures using tools and dies.
• Repair and maintain dies, molds, and tools.
• Create new fixtures based on blueprints and schematics.
• Utilize CAD software for design creation.
• Inspect tools and dies for imperfections.
• Conduct equipment tests and modifications for quality assurance.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Operate machine tools and verify detail conformance.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in operating measuring and production equipment.
• Strong mathematical understanding.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience

• Prior experience in die setting or metal stamping.
• Tool and diemaker certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
• Effective communication and vision abilities.
• Exposure to a mechanical work environment.
