Truck Technician Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Truck Technician Helper to join our team at Plains, an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider based in Houston, Texas. As a Truck Technician Helper, you will assist in maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles, equipment, and facilities under the guidance of Truck Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Support Truck Technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Learn to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vehicle and equipment issues.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts and materials.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate company pickup trucks with a Class C Driver's license.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic math and English skills.
• Desire to learn and develop maintenance skills.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
