Responsibilities
- Triage and care for patients in the Emergency and Critical Care Department
- Assist DVM's with assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Manage patient treatments and assessments efficiently
- Support the flow and organization of the department
- Handle laboratory samples and utilize imaging techniques
- Execute, monitor, and recover sedation and anesthesia events
Qualifications
High School education or equivalent, several years of related experience, and certification as a veterinary technician preferred. Possess skills in nursing care, anesthesia, assisting in procedures, admitting/discharging patients, and client communication.
