Job Description

The Clumpies & GOOD DOG Catering and Events Team Leader will oversee catering and special events operations, ensuring excellent guest service, adherence to quality standards, and organizational goals. This position involves scheduling, food preparation, equipment setup, maintaining relationships with event professionals, and supervising team members. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, coordination, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service in line with organizational values.
  • Lead catering and special events operations.
  • Schedule catering outlets for peak season.
  • Prepare food to menu specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain relationships with event planners for potential opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health codes, and safety standards.
  • Supervise partners and address guest complaints.
  • Perform cashier duties and oversee cash handling procedures.
  • Follow time and temperature controls, Serve Safe Certification, and maintain company vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Food Service/Hospitality preferred.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and oversee a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate event vehicles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, and special events.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds and stand/walk regularly.

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $17.4-$17.45
