Construction Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Intern to join our team at Home Creations in Edmond, Oklahoma. As a Construction Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of the Superintendent/Builder/Construction Manager, assisting with various construction, maintenance, and landscape activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod.
• Assist in maintaining clean streets and gutters.
• Perform minor touch-ups and activities on punch lists.
• Ensure quality standards in our products.
• Understand the residential construction process and apply common knowledge.
• Communicate with subcontractors and provide recommendations to Builder and Superintendent.
• Attend all staff meetings and fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma and six months of general labor experience or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of erosion control guidelines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in working with computers and technology.

Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor work sites with varying weather conditions. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs of equipment.
