Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems in Baltimore, MD. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for managing industrial equipment availability, ensuring uptime, coordinating with maintenance, and establishing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and forecast critical spares for equipment uptime.
• Update and secure critical spares needed for production equipment.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely maintenance completion.
• Collaborate with various teams to optimize maintenance processes.
• Develop equipment uptime communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA scripting.
• Familiarity with CNC and Robotic equipment.
• Ability to interpret OEM drawings and schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Inventory management and CAD design skills.
• Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
