Field Industrial Technician

Job Description

GSM Industrial, a regional leader in industrial fabrication and mechanical contracting, is seeking Field Industrial Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Field Industrial Technician, you will travel to jobsites to perform various installation tasks related to industrial projects, such as welding, rigging, millwright, and painting. Operating material handling equipment, welding tools, and other machinery will be part of your responsibilities, often working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks for industrial projects.
• Operate material handling equipment and power tools.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including those set by OSHA.

Requirements

• Prior experience in industrial fabrication or mechanical contracting.
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging conditions.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and fabrication machinery.

Compensation

Field Industrial Technicians at GSM Industrial typically earn between $20 and $30 per hour, with potential for overtime and bonuses.
