Maritime Scheduler

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Maritime Scheduler to join Marine Hydraulics International, LLC. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and updating detailed production schedules for ship repair projects, ensuring seamless integration of tasks and resources.

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure by reviewing standard Work Items and reference drawings.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate work into a cohesive production schedule.
• Resource load the production schedule based on Work Item estimates.
• Update schedules to reflect contract changes and project progress.
• Analyze data for errors, conflicts, and recommend solutions to prevent project delays.
• Prepare and deliver weekly schedule status reports.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with critical path analysis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum two years of project planning or completion of Scheduler-In-Training program at MHI.
• Prior experience in shipyard, industrial, or construction sector preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products and scheduling software like Primavera P6.

Working Conditions

This on-site position involves sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting, and exposure to outdoor conditions. Must possess motor coordination skills and the ability to express ideas clearly.
