Member Experience Specialist- Dual role as Teller/Banker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Member Experience Specialist, which is a dual role as a teller/banker, to join Kirtland Federal Credit Union. As a Member Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional member experience by performing various member service functions and developing financial relationships to provide appropriate loan and deposit products and services.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and enhance member relationships to ensure exceptional member experiences.
• Perform various member service functions accurately and in a timely manner, including teller transactions, cash handling, and account maintenance.
• Generate and process loan applications for consumer lending products.
• Identify member needs, develop financial relationships, and provide opportunities for appropriate products and services.
• Maintain balanced cash drawer and adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Support the credit union's mission, vision, and service standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year's cash handling, sales, and customer service experience preferred.
• Previous lending or sales experience preferred.
• Experience with IRA and other consumer deposit products preferred.
• Proven member service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills.
• Ability to cross-sell products based on member needs.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
• Flexible with a continuous learning environment.
