Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology to join our team at LifeBridge Health. This full-time position based in Westminster, MD, offers a unique opportunity to work at the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, a leading program in cancer treatment and blood disorders. As part of our team, you will collaborate with board-certified Medical Oncologists, providing outpatient services, ensuring patient care in the infusion center, and conducting inpatient hospital consults when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hematology/oncology, be a Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree, hold relevant certifications, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and oversee treatment administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in oncology research and support clinical trials.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years in hematology/oncology.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Science.
- Certified with relevant CPR, BLS, and DEA certifications.
- Registered Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
- Strong clinical knowledge in oncology and team-based care skills.
