Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join the Corewell Health team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. You will work under supervision, ensuring patient safety, while contributing to the advancement of medicine and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Use age-appropriate methods for patient care procedures.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and staff.
- Ensure equipment operation and follow quality control procedures.
- Provide patient education prior to exams.
- Contribute to department operations and assist in training.
- Maintain competency in assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Required certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT, CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.
