We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-Time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various radiology areas, working under supervision to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for procedures.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow relevant policies.
- Adhere to radiation protection principles.
- Offer procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Stay up-to-date with competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT-Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA upon hire required.
