Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time afternoon shift. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. You will work under supervision, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Utilize radiographic procedures tailored to patient physical ability.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Ensure radiation exposure is minimized according to ALARA standards.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Assist in training and maintaining department operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Required certifications: CRT-R, CRT-BLS.
